
The alarm type and message is set with the
setAlarm
operation.
Finally, the rule is activated using the activateRule operation. Once the rule is active it will begin to be evaluated.
12.6.2 Command Console
A less resource-intensive manner of viewing, exporting and importing rules is by using the Command Console. Using the
command console, rules cannot be edited directly but must be first exported to a file, edited and then imported again. In this
way, any aspect of a rule can be modified using a text editor and rules can be saved for later use.
The exported files containing the threshold rules data is formatted using XML.
To view the deployed rules use the
listconfigkeys
command, supplying threshold-rules as the configuration type argument:
[Rhino@localhost (#0)] listconfigkeys threshold-rules
rule/low_memory

getconfig
