5.4.1 Installing an RA using the Web Console
To install a resource adaptor using the Web Console, first open a web browser and direct it to
https://localhost:8443
.
First, the deployable unit is deployed using the
Deployment MBean
which can be navigated to from the main page:
To install the resource adaptor, type in its file name or use the “Browse. . .” button to locate the file:
After installation of the resource adaptor, any number of resource adaptor entities (“RA entities”) can be created to allow that
resource to be accessed by services.
The
Resource Management MBean
is used.
To create the resource adaptor entity, fill in a name and click “createResourceAdaptorEntity”.
So that applications can locate an RA entity using JNDI, that RA Entity is bound to a link name as follows:
The chosen link name must match the link name in the SIP Registrar SBB
