23.3 Directory Contents
The base directory for the JCC Examples is $RHINO_HOME/examples/jcc. When referring to file locations in the following
sections, this directory is abbreviated to $EXAMPLES. The contents of the examples directory are summarised below.
File/directory name Description
build.xml Ant build script for JCC example applications. Manages building and deployment
of the examples.
build.properties Properties for the Ant build script.
README Text file containing quick start instructions.
createjcctrace.sh Shell script to create JCC trace components, used to test the JCC applications.
src/ Contains source code for example JCC services.
lib/ Contains pre-built jars of the JCC resource adaptor and resource adaptor type.
classes/ Compiled classes are written to this directory.
jars/ Jar files are written here, ready for deployment.
ra/ Contains deployment descriptors for assembling the JCC RA deployable unit.
23.4 Installation
23.4.1 JCC Reference Implementation
Before attempting to deploy the JCC examples, the JCC Reference Implementation must be downloaded. Due to licensing
restrictions this cannot be included with the Rhino SLEE.
The JCC RI is available from
http://www.argreenhouse.com/JAINRefCode
. After downloading, the JCC RI jar file
(
jcc-ri-1.1.jar
) should be copied to the
$RHINO_HOME/examples/jcc/lib
directory. Proceed with installing the examples
below after this is done.
